Event Details

On Wednesday, September 25, The Church of St. Andrew and St. Paul has the privilege of hosting an afternoon of events of this week-long conference. Theology in the City is a bi-annual conference exploring contemporary issues through a multidisciplinary lens. Activities include lectures, roundtables, art installations, performance, storytelling and more. The conference is always free of cost and open to the public.

12:00 p.m. – Lunch (free)
12:30 p.m. – Rev. Jenna Smith, Theological approach to home and intimate partner violence
2:00 p.m. – Dr. Eric Weisman, “The concept of home when one is homeless”
4:30 p.m. – Concert in the sanctuary featuring music from the up-coming opera The life and work of Alan Turing, Matthew Suttor, Composer
5:30 p.m. – Dr. Cory Labreque (Keynote Address of the conference) “Home” in the Age of Artificial Intelligence
