Preaching for the Call.
The Reverend Dr. Glenn Chestnutt has been a life-long member of the Presbyterian Church, having grown up in a Christian home in Ballymoney, Northern Ireland. He began his career as a teacher and then sensed a call to ministry within the church. He was ordained as a minister in the Church of Scotland in 2009. Prior to his ordination he worked for several years as a student minister while completing his studies. He completed the Master of Divinity and the Master of Theology at Princeton Theological Seminary, USA. From there, he went on to complete his Ph.D. at the University of Edinburgh, Scotland in the area of systematic theology, focusing on the theology of Karl Barth. He has won several awards including the Princeton Seminary Jagow Scholarship in Preaching. His publications include one book and several articles.
