The Forever Young Centenarian – 1921-2021: The Black Watch Window of The Church of St. Andrew and St. Paul

The Heritage Committee and Keeping Watch Productions invite you to join us on Remembrance Sunday, November 9th, 2025 in Kildonan Hall at 12:00 p.m. after the service for the première of our new 30-minute documentary on our most beloved window. Originally dedicated to Lt.- Col. Bartlett McLennan, DSO, Officers and Men of the 42nd Battalion, the Black Watch window now honours all the fallen of the Black Watch (Royal Highland Regiment) of Canada.

The movie is narrated by our own Alasdair Campbell, with an original soundtrack featuring six ‘Highlanders’ from the choir, Stratsimir Dimitrov on piano, Jonas Apeland (our former Director of Music) at the organ, Gabriel Harris playing the Lament, and the Black Watch pipes and drums.

The Forever Young Centenarian is dedicated to the memory of Captain (Ret) J. S. S. Armour, Minister Emeritus. ‘Soldiers’ rations will be provided! Kindly RSVP by November 4th, 2025, at info@standrewstpaul.com as seating is limited.
