When conflict or crisis occurs, our first question is often, “What will I do?” This Sunday we encounter the strange parable of the “unjust manager” confronting that question. Underneath the confusion presented in this story, the way forward begins with recognizing the resources already in our hands—and then choosing to use them for the good of others and the building up of community.
