Autumn Leaves Tour

On Saturday, October 4th, The Guild will host an Autumn Leaves Tour – a day trip by coach bus to the beautiful countryside of the Eastern Townships. We will visit Abbaye St. Benoit-du-Lac, famous for making cheese and cider. Visit the monastery and boutique, see the orchard and try the walking paths, or attend a short service. Lunch will be a sumptuous warm buffet (with a unique Mediterranean-inspired menu) overlooking Lake Memphremagog at the Bistro Koz in the lovely Verso Hotel in Magog.

There will also be an opportunity on the way home to stop in Knowlton to visit Canadian author Louise Penny’s new coffee shop “Three Pines” under Brome Lake Books or check out the gift shop Le Panier Champetre.

This adult-only tour (18 years and over) will leave the church at 9:00 a.m. and return by 5:30 p.m.
