Sermon by The Rev. Susan Brasier, “When life walks out of the grave”
This last Sunday in Lent, we will revisit the story of the raising of Lazarus in the Gospel of John and ponder how Jesus reaches down into the graves where we have buried the stinky past and pulls it into the light. We know how to grieve our disappointments and our failures – but often we have no idea what to do when life comes walking out of the grave.
