Please join us for our Service of Truth and Reconciliation on Wednesday, September 30th at 6:00 p.m.
September 30th is Canada’s National Day of Truth and Reconciliation (Orange Shirt Day). This day is dedicated to honouring Indigenous survivors of the residential school system and their families and communities. The Presbyterian church ran some of these schools, so it is particularly relevant for us to reflect on and repent of the harms that were done.
We are honoured that Robert Spade, an Ojibwe musician and teacher at the Schulich School of Music (McGill) will be joining us for this event.
