The Indigenous Connections Committee warmly welcomes you to join us after church on Sunday, June 15th in Kildonan Hall for a Lunch and Learn. Our speakers will be Karyn Murray and Rev. Jill Foster with the title “Skátne Ronatehiarontíe”, which means Growing Together in the language of this land.
They will be talking about the Gardens of Hope, an agricultural project based in Kanesatake which promotes Indigenous agricultural practices, provides food to people in need, and shares the healing power of working with the land. A delicious lunch will be provided!
