Gardens of Hope Corn Roast

The A&P Indigenous Connections Committee would like to share an invitation from the Gardens of Hope, in Kanehsatake (near Oka, Quebec) to join them in a visit to the Gardens and a corn roast on Saturday, September 20th. The Gardens of Hope are an Indigenous initiative to promote connection to the land, traditional agricultural practices, as well as providing food to elders in the community. We will drive from the church, leaving at 9:30 a.m. and expect to be back around 5:00 p.m. The cost is $25, to be paid to the Gardens of Hope. If you would like to join us, please contact Miranda at info@standrewstpaul.com, indicating how many people, whether or not you will need a ride, or if you can drive, and how many passengers you could take. Please let us know by Sept. 13th, so that we can plan accordingly.
