This Sunday, we once again return to the beloved story of Jesus feeding more than 5,000 people with just two fish and five loaves of bread. This familiar story holds so much more than we might expect. It is not only a glimpse of the heavenly banquet, but also a story of Jesus empowering his disciples to serve when they wanted to give up.
